heehee, i spent some money this weekend

bought a set of wireless microphone; the one i have about US$100 was bought from US, it was OK before then the sound equipment in the studio moved around and i got lots of echo and couldn't stand it anymore

the new one from Cosmo, no tax day on saturday, $550 + accessories, less than $600, it should work fine though --- 'moneywise' :D

i used to buy expensive purses when i worked as an executive officer in a telecommunications listing company; getting too busy lately, tony wanted to buy me a bag and i had no time for him, finally, we went downtown today, bought a new arrival 'gucci' over $1,000 ;P, how long do i have to teach to make up the money, oh well, tony paid

i finally finished my yearly body check from november last year, it has been 2 weeks from then and get no urgent call, that means i'm safe, will meet the doctor this week to find out all the results, cross the fingers ..... X;-)X

monday, a foggy rainy day; stefi got up in the morning and had light fever, i fed her 1/2 dose of fever relief, she went to the track & field for the standing long jump
sorry not that I wanted her but she wanted to

i had 2 classes in the morning, winnie's assistant called me while i was in the 2nd class and said she couldn't find my new dance 'give me 1 reason' in yipee, so i went home and picked up the step sheet & music and went to winnie's class, unexpectedly, winnie taught my dance in her class; she did it so well, danced into the music .....

then i rushed to pick up stefi & her friend at dufferin & king road, oh my, they looked like 2 abandoned kittens when I saw them, cold, shaky & coughing, i bought them hot chocolate and i knew they would get sick easily; the next day, stefi didn't go to school and her friend didn't go neither, i bet you, most of the students went to the track & field got sick ;P

stefi went back to school on wednesday, she didn't win this year and was a bit disappointed, that's OK, girl, as long as participated, that was a wonderful experience
she didn't eat well for the last couple of days, looks skinnier from her skinny shape

today, thursday, she's fully recovered and we will attend a contest awards presentation in markham tomorrow, stefi's team won the 2nd prize from 200 groups of students, so proud of her. we went to the school art nite last wednesday, 3 stop motions were displayed and stefi participated all of the 3 displays. stefi, i'm proud of you, my sweet girl

Stefi is sick :(

last week was crazy busy, most for the kids

stefi practiced the dance performance for the school art nite last wednesday; after the show, she started to practice on thursday & friday evenings for her martial art - chinese kung fu grading, she got sore throat

on saturday, kids have to skip both chinese and abacus; we went up to magna centre in newmarket for the grading from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30, it was freezing cold there, and she couldn't put on her jacket coz. she needed to do the forms in kung fu uniform; she passed and got her 2nd belt

we went home around 4:00 and i was too tired, took a nap, basically i didn't get much time to practice the dances for the line dance party at nite; i went to the party, danced so much and had fun even i didn't remember all the steps and of course the BMF-bad mouth fly showed her damn face to me; i keep telling myself 'ignore her, ignore her'
;P still trying, sometimes can, sometimes can't

went home before 12:00 a.m. and prepared the material for sunday morning class; mom told me stefi got a fever, fed her fever relief

she's still sick today, fever with sore throat BUT SHE HAS a long jump tomorrow for area competition, i told her not to go but she wants to, oh well, will see tomorrow morning, hope she's OK, last year she entered into york region competitions

i have a thinking today, don't know why i want to be a line dance instructor, i would be a lot happier if i just dance, no competition, no enemy (hey, don't get me wrong, i don’t compete to others, no one is apple to apple, how to compete ???) but some others don't understand and don't believe my theory

SIGH, i taught my girl when she was 3 - just do your best, compete to yourself, do things better than better, that's the only thing under your control

Monday - 2 classes

Tuesday - 2 classes

Wednesday - 1 class, Jon Jon’s ‘art nite’ event at school & Stefi also performed in stage (will upload her performance in youtube, no time to process yet – I’m so proud of her, heehee, she’s a replica of me)

Thursday - skip one class, review over 70 dances for Saturday nite party, kids' martial art lesson in the evening

Friday - facial in the morning, 1 class in the afternoon, stay with Stefi for practicing her martial art grading in Scarborough

Saturday - have to skip the kids’ Chinese & Abacus lessons, drive Stefi to Newmarket for her official grading test, will go to line dance party at nite

Sunday - 1 class in the morning

That’s my tight schedule for the whole week, no spare time at all. So, if you don’t receive email or hear from you, you know why …….

MY NEW DANCE - Give Me 1 Reason

hi there, i uploaded my new dance, 'Give Me 1 Reason’ in youtube, to the song by Tracy Chapman, an advanced beginner line dance – 4 wall 48 count; a soultry bluesy song, easy steps, just flow your body naturally through the beats, show your proud and body movements in a 'funky' way. hope you enjoy it !!

i finished the steps while i was in Mexico in the end of February, the same time of circus; then i posted 'Circus' in March, this one was expected to be posted in april; i uploaded it for private share on 'April Fool', not to public share because the song is under WMG, had no idea if that’s appropriate to play the whole song in youtube

in yesterday's class, i mentioned the dance and my students didn't mind to tape the dance so we did. thanks to the students in the dance, also a few new students waited for us in the class and my new camera man/student took the video for us. A BIG THANK YOU =D>

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :))

hi dear, i had a happy birthday on 5/19 !!!

in the last few years, i didn't tell others about my birthday, why border to tell people i'm getting older, and tony always work late, i used to buy a small cake and took pictures with my kids at home, that's about it.

last year i got hard time from the Bad Mouth Fly and her 2 good friends on my birthday, very sad. that's why this year i told my birthday, hoped to have a good one and i did :))

i received calls from friends, one that i knew him for 20 years called me from far, unexpected, also emails from friends, very happy.
sorry i cancelled my tuesday morning class and had 'yum cha' with my students ;P
then i received a big present - what ? how big ? a precious one ? a good one ? noop, hahaha, invisible, it's in the heart, just found out how much someone who likes me !!

ok, in this year, i earned a lot a lot, so much in line dancing, good & bad, happy & sad; no matter what, no one can earn the whole world.

from choreographing and posting the videos in youtube, i know many new line dance friends, all over the world; from them and my students and some of my local line dance friends, they fill and warm my heart

oh well, just want to let you know that i'm happy for now and
want to share my happiness with you ..........

HOW ARE YOU ?? I'M FINE ^_^

hi there, how are you ?

today is victoria day - statutory holiday, yeah, queen's (regina) day - my day, my birthday is 5/19, always after the victoria day

sister returned to maryland, she has her family there; i love her be here, be my company, same when we were kids, she followed me everywhere, of course, not the dance parties - i usually told my mom i studied in my friend's house, took my sister and left her in the friend's house, then went for parties with my classmates, shhhhhh, don't tell my mom, and that was the reason why i dance good -
i do dance since i was a kid ...... ;P

not too too busy, have 2 classes today, yes, even holiday, taught 'juvenile & besame cha cha', had fun

won't be too busy for the rest of this month but will get busy in june, will be away in the first week of july, most likely vancouver, tony's cousin is having a wedding banquet there, oh well, i rather to dance yes, dance dance dance happy dancing ........ \:D/

DANCE DANCE DANCE =D

went to winnie's party last nite, there were 72 dances on the list + about 10 special requests, i danced about 70 dances & had dinner in 5 hours, i skipped those beginners dances or oldies that i don't remember i.e. that's right mambo, quando when quando, oh suzannah etc. of course the Bad Mouth Fly - BMF showed her damn arrogant face to me again, oh well, who cares;

when we danced 'much obliged' in the 2nd section, the BMF danced from 9:00 to next to me (i was at the corner of 12:00 & 3:00), haha, you want to battel again ? don't you remember what your instructor/boss told you not to do ???

when they danced 'Cleveland shuffle' which was her favorite, the song is a kind of hip hop but she sang along with her 'kittie seeking playmate' noise, for us advanced level students, some returned to our seats, just couldn't stand her noise, one made fun saying that BMF has no more chance to call out 'in bed' so she has to do it in public; one said 'gave birth already, can't scream like her .....', SIGH BMF .......
repeat it again, this is my open diary, you don't have to like my blog, it's your choice to read this :P

other than last nite dances, i had 2 lessons today, taught 'le secret & sting me' both great dances; i feel like my toes have all fallen off, have to pick them and put them back in place, physically - i have sore feet, mentally - too happy to dance so much, keep on dancing, happy dancing \:D/

in case you don't know, my instructor, winnie yu's youtube account was suspended for some of her videos are violated to the copyrights; then i kept thinking one day will be my turn even i don't have many videos in youtube.

i received an email from youtube today that private dancer may have content that is owned or licensed by UMG, no action is required on my part, however, something may affect my videos.

i mentioned before, i have 2 new dances both under WMG, may or may not post out based on the above reason, oh well, will figure that out, stay tuned .......

QUIET ??? NOT QUITE !!!

yesterday (4/19) - a beauty seminar was held by In Beauty Spa in the studio where i teach; i ran a line dance demo with several students, got good response, welcome to the new students joining my classes

today (monday) - my precious sister arrived from maryland for 3 weeks

in the last 2 weeks, a few people told me that he/she's reading my blog; heehee, i got readers, yes, you are one of them, can't believe some of my friends are following my blog, very happy, coz. you share my feelings; one of my students said he senses my happiness, yes, i am. i was a bit upset 2 months ago because of the BMF, if you read my post of march 14 & 18 then you know, then it was gone, now i'm happy again

things are going smoothly, i think i'm in the right track, just need to be patient and keep working hard and believe the outcome will be fruitful !!!

thanks again to YOU - my personal friends, or students, or line dance friends; without your support, i would have given up long ago. i love you all

what i did yesterday

1. drove Jon Jon back to school;
2. stefi didn't feel well, she rested for 10 mins., drove her to school again;
3. picked up mom from North York, drove to Scarborough for doctor appointment;
4. drove mom back home;
5. went to the studio in markham for winnie's lesson, stopped by to buy sandwich & drink
6. after the lesson, i talked with my dance friend for 30 mins., coz. that was early to pick up kids from school; i didn't realize i turned off the phone for the lesson and school & my mom left me numerous messages that stefi felt really bad and was resting in the school office;
7. arrived school at 3:40 p.m., picked up kids;
8. went home, stefi vomitted again;
9. took stefi to see doctor, of course with Jon Jon too, doctor said she has the 'stomach flu';
10. back home and Jon Jon got change;
11. sent him to the community centre for swimming lesson;
12. went back home to watch stefi;
13. drove back to community centre to pick up Jon Jon;
14. went home, phew !! last trip of the day.

the above, might not be that special or too much to you or me; the max, one saturday in last summer, i had made 21 trips for kids’ activities, drove around for my mom, my teaching & line dance party.

i keep encouraging myself, if i want to dance, i have to work hard and do things fast, and dance is my motivation to do so ......

just received the following via email from one of my good friends :
'I am just wondering how can you do so many things…. Update you blog, dance, choreograph dances, teach dancing, sending mails on a daily basis and taking care of your husband and kids.'

yes, that's what i'm doing -- happily; with your support : reading my blog, dance with me, watch my videos, attend my class, send me emails and say hello to me, talk to me; and the love from my family, i feel like a ------- SUPERWOMAN, i'm blessed, and enjoy every moment i live and dance .....

don't know when are you reading this, thanks again for your support and looking forward for the chance we dance together, no matter how close or how far you are .......
BUT if you are the BMF - bad mouth fly, don't come to me, off off

P.S. almost gone crazy during the march break & easter holidays, kids got no school and drove me crazy, SIGH, it's over finally, had 2 lessons today, felt sooo good, dance is the best medicine to me.

hi pals, keeping quiet for awhile, being a good girl to study the dances i learnt, went to 2 parties, glad that i got to dance; taught J Ho, breakin' dishes, let it go, unchain my heart, chiki chiki; and my students love them; things are going smoothly .....

i choreographed 2 dances when i went for the trip in mexico (yes, made in mexico), one was circus, the other one uploaded in youtube on April 1 (happy april fool) but private shared, showed to a few line dancers overseas, my students danced in the class already, oh well, don't know, may or may not post out coz. its a song under WMG; that's why i have to do something in editing ..... when i have time .....

just found another beautiful song, WOW, so beautiful, love it love it, stay tuned .....

hi there, thanks for visiting again, would like to update a bit of my flat life ...LOL

quoted the 'bad mouth fly - BMF' : 'i'm inadequate in the advanced class'. i went to my instructor's party last nite, glad to find that i'm still adequate in those 'advanced' dances; felt so good for dancing so much especially one of my favorites – pump it, just love it very much .....

the BMF, dressed to kill as usual, shinny sequined tee & leon colored skin tights - SIGH, no comment ...... too bad we don't see my instructor's videos in youtube for now; that's alright, i still have some in my library, will post them to let you see the BMF dances like a piece of white toilet paper stick to the instructor's butt all the times - hey, don't say i'm mean, that's how she dances ..... whenever the camera is on to the instructor, she automatically moves from anywhere to behind her, so much like a piece of toilet paper .....

OK, back to normal, i've stopped this link in my youtube channel coz. i'm talking too much about the BMF, not professional enough to be open to public; this blog is like my diary, wish to share with someone who concerns about my happiness OR someone who concerns about me enough to wish me dead .....

realize the BMF does not only treat me badly but most of the people including her own students, WHAT ?? i'm not the only one ? noop, i'm not that special, not the only one; last nite she stuck out her pointed tongue again, heehee, not to me this time but she showed her dirty look to me whenever i sat down for those dances i didn't remember.
