EDEN @};- Winnie Ho's BD Party

i've uploaded my dance demo EDEN at Winnie's Birthday Party today;

a round of applause for my students, they had little time to practice the dance and never got a chance to do the rehearsal together; a few of them had stage fright but i'm still very proud of them for trying and appreciate that they danced with me.

PARTIES REPORT

4 parties in 8 days between June 19 and 26 :

June 19 - winnie ho's review party, that was in a school, large gym but a bit hot, no pressure, reviewed for the upcoming parties;

June 20 - a private party, led a line dance section in the studio and taught 3 easy dances - J Ho AB, Goodbye & Man Chang Fei. got good response, a few dancers requested me to host a line dance party night, will consider;

June 25 - lunch buffet line dance party, i led 3 baby dances : la fiesta, Jo N Jo Tango, and cupid shuffle; It was okay, i used to lead dance but first time in front of my instructor : missy winnie, a bit nervous ;-]

June 26 (tonite) - winnie ho's birthday party, i had so much fun coz. the BMF is not around, i danced from 6:30 till 12:05, a great party.

i also led my dance - Eden (will post the video in a day or so) with a few of my students, too bad we had no time and no chance to practice, but i'm happy with the outcome; thanks again to my students, whoever danced OR watched me, need your support and will do better and better so you will be proud of your line dance instructor ^_^

i had a very good time with my students tonite, thanks to them;
also thanks to winnie ho, her good friend hilda ku, and her supporters for allowing me to do my dance;
last but not least, my instructor, missy winnie to bring us the joy of line dancing

btw, as mentioned to some of my line dance friends, i've decided to host the line dance party in the end of July, please send me your preference of saturday or sunday and your favorite dances in the party list by july 12 so I can do an accurate headcount; email me for the tentative dance list or call me for any concerns.

i've uploaded a new video in youtube - Painted Windows; from the video, you can see i danced more relax than before, that's the training, like the actors learn how to act in the acting school, just give me a bit of time, i'm confidence that i can dance like what you see me on the dance floor;

BUSY FOR COMING PARTIES - Dance Dance Dance

Parties in June -

had a review class this morning, reviewed eden, basilon, cha cha, go baby go, j. Ho, juvenile, la secret, magic, and TOP;

an organization booked the Wannadance Studio (where I teach line dance) this Saturday for a party, I will lead a section of 2 hours for line dancing and teach 3 easy line dances for the party people;

a lunch buffet year end party will be held at the Starwalk Buffet next Thursday at noon time, I will lead 3 beginners dances in the party; only 1 thing border me, BMF will be there ;-(;

Winnie Ho's party next Friday;

that's all the parties in June, then I’ll fly to Vancouver with my family for one week vacation; I’m a bit worry, last time when I went Vancouver, I gained 8 lbs in a week, don't know how much will I gain this time, but, other than eat eat eat, what else to do in 'Richmond, Vancouver BC' ??

Jon Jon feels much better =)

Jon Jon was tired the whole morning & afternoon, we went picked up my mom from North York, shopping in Fairview Mall; bought an I-tune gift card from Apple Store for Stefi's friend who's having a BD wave pool party this coming Friday.

We picked up the reports from abacus in the afternoon, both stefi & jon jon didn't want to go to the church program so i skipped it; jon jon started to played soccer inside the house in the evening, fought with stefi for something, then i know he is feeling good now, he's either sick OR too much energy ...... =)

Friday morning, Jon Jon woke up early and his throat was sored, i gave him throat drop. He looked tired when came home from school and had fever, i fed him fever relief. i scared him he may get 'swine flu', he asked me will he die, i told him he will turn look like a pig but won't get die, only those get no one to take care of; then he told me to take good care of him. yes, my honey baby, i kiss him 300 times a day how could i don't take good care of him.

hello my dear, i've uploaded my new video 'If U Seek' in youtube, it's britney's again, i like her songs and wanted to make a dance for it, then found out an UK choreographer, David Thomas, did the dance already so i just danced and taped it to save me time ;))

i showed the clip to my good friend, a very experienced choreographer, he commented : 'Looking at the dance, one could swear it was one of yours. Its good.'

hey, thanks for telling me, i noticed from my video that most of the steps I used in my own dances before, no wonder I used little time and felt so easy (relax) to do the dance.
Bad Mouth Fly - keep your damn mouth shut, don't ever say i copy steps from other dances, this one was done after mine !! Steps are steps, no steps are registered or patented, just see how you use and connect them, well, BMF may not understand though.

Taught Reach Out and reviewed TOP & Nu Flow this morning, i love 'reach out' great music & dance.

heehee, i spent some money this weekend

bought a set of wireless microphone; the one i have about US$100 was bought from US, it was OK before then the sound equipment in the studio moved around and i got lots of echo and couldn't stand it anymore

the new one from Cosmo, no tax day on saturday, $550 + accessories, less than $600, it should work fine though --- 'moneywise' :D

i used to buy expensive purses when i worked as an executive officer in a telecommunications listing company; getting too busy lately, tony wanted to buy me a bag and i had no time for him, finally, we went downtown today, bought a new arrival 'gucci' over $1,000 ;P, how long do i have to teach to make up the money, oh well, tony paid

i finally finished my yearly body check from november last year, it has been 2 weeks from then and get no urgent call, that means i'm safe, will meet the doctor this week to find out all the results, cross the fingers ..... X;-)X

monday, a foggy rainy day; stefi got up in the morning and had light fever, i fed her 1/2 dose of fever relief, she went to the track & field for the standing long jump

i had 2 classes in the morning, winnie's assistant called me while i was in the 2nd class and said she couldn't find my new dance 'give me 1 reason' in yipee, so i went home and picked up the step sheet & music and went to winnie's class, unexpectedly, winnie taught my dance in her class; she did it so well, danced into the music .....

then i rushed to pick up stefi & her friend at dufferin & king road, oh my, they looked like 2 abandoned kittens when I saw them, cold, shaky & coughing, i bought them hot chocolate and i knew they would get sick easily; the next day, stefi didn't go to school and her friend didn't go neither, i bet you, most of the students went to the track & field got sick ;P

stefi went back to school on wednesday, she didn't win this year and was a bit disappointed, that's OK, girl, as long as participated, that was a wonderful experience
she didn't eat well for the last couple of days, looks skinnier from her skinny shape

today, thursday, she's fully recovered and we will attend a contest awards presentation in markham tomorrow, stefi's team won the 2nd prize from 200 groups of students, so proud of her. we went to the school art nite last wednesday, 3 stop motions were displayed and stefi participated all of the 3 displays. stefi, i'm proud of you, my sweet girl
don't forget you got the genes from me ....

Stefi is sick :(

last week was crazy busy, most for the kids

stefi practiced the dance performance for the school art nite last wednesday; after the show, she started to practice on thursday & friday evenings for her martial art - chinese kung fu grading, she got sore throat

on saturday, kids have to skip both chinese and abacus; we went up to magna centre in newmarket for the grading from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30, it was freezing cold there, and she couldn't put on her jacket coz. she needed to do the forms in kung fu uniform; she passed and got her 2nd belt

we went home around 4:00 and i was too tired, took a nap, basically i didn't get much time to practice the dances for the line dance party at nite; i went to the party, danced so much and had fun even i didn't remember all the steps and of course the BMF-bad mouth fly showed her damn face to me; i keep telling myself 'ignore her, ignore her'
;P still trying, sometimes can, sometimes can't

went home before 12:00 a.m. and prepared the material for sunday morning class; mom told me stefi got a fever, fed her fever relief

she's still sick today, fever with sore throat BUT SHE HAS a long jump tomorrow for area competition, i told her not to go but she wants to, oh well, will see tomorrow morning, hope she's OK, last year she entered into york region competitions

i have a thinking today, don't know why i want to be a line dance instructor, i would be a lot happier if i just dance, no competition, no enemy (hey, don't get me wrong, i don’t compete to others, no one is apple to apple, how to compete ???) but some others don't understand and don't believe my theory

SIGH, i taught my girl when she was 3 - just do your best, compete to yourself, do things better than better, that's the only thing under your control
